Instructions for your Moonlake Republik Moth Traps for Clothes & Pantry with Pheromones

Congratulations on your purchase of a set of Moonlake Republik Moth Traps for Clothes & Pantry with Pheromones. This all-natural pheromone-based moth trap collection can be hung in clothing closets or food pantries. The pheromone draws in moths with an odorless attractant that interrupts their breeding cycle. Moths enter the trap but can’t get out!  Your new traps are super-convenient, easy to assemble and hang easily for long-lasting peace of mind.

  • The product utilizes glue traps for safely killing moths
  • Safe for clothes closets and food pantries
  • No odor at all
  • Three full months of protection against moths

What you’ll Get:

  • 6 – glue traps
  • 6 – outer boxes for traps
  • 6- attachable hooks
  • 1 – instruction sheet
  • 1 – insert

Instructions for Use:

To set your trap, follow these instructions:

Step 1: Isolate 1 glue trap, 1 custom box, and 1 hanger for assembly.

Step 2: Punch out the yellow diamonds from the sides, bottom, and one side of the trap (as shown).

Step 3: Open out the box so it assumes the shape of the box. Do not close the bottom end but close the end with the slit in it.

Step 4: Slide the hanger into the box top as shown in the image to secure it to the box.

Step 5: Unwrap the glue trap. Note there are two sides: 1) the glue side, and 2) the side for affixing the glue trap to the box.

Step 6: Remove the paper from the glue side of the trap. Do not touch that side after removing the paper. Holding the trap by the edges, remove the small glue tab on the reverse side of the trap.

Step 7: Carefully place the glue trap in the box and close the box flap on the box bottom. Touch the glue trap with one finger through a central hole to make sure the glue tab sticks.

Step 8: Hang the trap in the box in your clothes closet or pantry. Only one trap is needed per closet. Expect male moths to begin to be trapped within a few days.

Be sure to check the traps periodically. There may not be many moths on the trap because only the males are attracted to the pheromone. By trapping and killing the males, the breeding cycle is disrupted, and no moth larvae can damage your clothing.

Remove the trap after three months and replace it with a newly assembled trap and box.

These traps can only eliminate clothes moths and pantry moths. Other types of insects and their larvae can damage clothing besides moths.

Cleaning and Safety:

Should glue get on your skin, rub some vegetable oil to loosen the glue. Then wash the area with soap and water to remove the vegetable oil.

The glue trap and box are fully recyclable. Simply dispose of the entire box intact. There is no need to open the box before discarding it.
